We've been working with stone for years, and each year we appreciate this material more and more. It's beautiful, versatile, and incredibly durable. Unfortunately, the production of decorative stone elements, like any other, generates a significant amount of waste. Some sources indicate that it can constitute up to 20% of the waste used in slab production. The fate of such stones is sealed – they end up in the trash. The cost of storing them is greater than their production potential. However, that doesn't mean they lack potential!
Preparations for the OFFCUTS project took nearly a year. We undertook various creative endeavors with stone, and now we're happy to share the results.
We invite you to the workshops.
During the workshop, under our guidance, you'll create a stone vase for dried flowers, a decorative mirror, or a framed arrangement. If you'd like to create something different, we'll be happy to develop your idea and help you bring it to life. During the workshop, you'll have unlimited access to stone scraps. You can also choose one of the attributes around which you'd like to create your project (a frame, a wooden flower rail, a mirror). You'll take your finished project home.
Details
